Si studiues, m\u00ebsimdh\u00ebn\u00ebs e drejtues i Institutit Albanologjik t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, Fetiu ka dh\u00ebn\u00eb kontribut t\u00eb madh n\u00eb shkenc\u00eb e zhvillim t\u00eb kuadrit shkencor. Vdekja e tij \u00ebsht\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb e ditur nga Dega e Folklorit n\u00eb Institutin Albanologjik t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs. Ai ishte 79 vje\u00e7. Sipas njoftimit t\u00eb l\u00ebshuar nga Dega e Folklorit n\u00eb Institutin Albanologjik t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs, profesor Sadri Fetiu u shqua nd\u00ebr intelektual\u00ebt m\u00eb t\u00eb dalluar e m\u00eb parimor\u00eb t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs dhe t\u00eb bot\u00ebs shqiptare<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shkrimtari e studiuesi i disa disiplinave albanologjike, Sadri Fetiu, vdiq t\u00eb h\u00ebn\u00ebn. Si studiues, m\u00ebsimdh\u00ebn\u00ebs e drejtues i Institutit Albanologjik t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, Fetiu ka dh\u00ebn\u00eb kontribut t\u00eb madh n\u00eb shkenc\u00eb e zhvillim t\u00eb kuadrit shkencor. Vdekja e tij \u00ebsht\u00eb b\u00ebr\u00eb e ditur nga Dega e Folklorit n\u00eb Institutin Albanologjik t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs. Ai ishte 79 vje\u00e7.<\/p>\n

Vdekja e tij \u00ebsht\u00eb par\u00eb si humbje e madhe p\u00ebr albanologjin\u00eb.<\/p>\n

I lindur n\u00eb fshatin Pe\u00e7an t\u00eb Suharek\u00ebs m\u00eb 7 shkurt t\u00eb vitit 1942, ai shkollimin fillor e kreu n\u00eb vendlindje dhe n\u00eb Suharek\u00eb. Gjimnazin e p\u00ebrfundoi n\u00eb Prizren dhe m\u00eb 1965 diplomoi n\u00eb Fakultetin Filozofik t\u00eb Universitetit t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs.<\/p>\n

Gjat\u00eb koh\u00ebs sa ishte n\u00eb studime kishte punuar si gazetar i kultur\u00ebs dhe arsimit n\u00eb Radio Prishtin\u00eb. P\u00ebr 12 vjet me radh\u00eb, n\u00eb vitet 1965-1977 ishte m\u00ebsimdh\u00ebn\u00ebs i gjuh\u00ebs dhe i let\u00ebrsis\u00eb shqipe n\u00eb qendr\u00ebn shkollore teknike \u201c19 N\u00ebntori\u201d t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs. Pas kryerjes s\u00eb studimeve pasuniversitare (1972-1974), n\u00eb vitin 1976 e mbrojti tem\u00ebn e magjistratur\u00ebs.
\nM\u00eb 1977 u angazhua n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e studimeve t\u00eb let\u00ebrsis\u00eb popullore n\u00eb Institutin Albanologjik t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs. Sipas biografis\u00eb s\u00eb tij, krahas pun\u00ebs p\u00ebr mbledhjen e materialeve folklorike, ka botuar nj\u00eb num\u00ebr studimesh nga fusha e folkloristik\u00ebs shqiptare, duke u p\u00ebrqendruar n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb ve\u00e7ant\u00eb n\u00eb studimin e balad\u00ebs popullore shqiptare. Disa nga studimet e tij jan\u00eb botuar edhe n\u00eb gjuh\u00ebn fr\u00ebnge n\u00eb revistat shkencore t\u00eb Tiran\u00ebs dhe n\u00eb revist\u00ebn \u201cRecherches albanologique\u201d t\u00eb IAP-s\u00eb.
\nM\u00eb 1987, n\u00eb Fakultetin e Filologjis\u00eb t\u00eb Universitetit t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs e ka mbrojtur tez\u00ebn e doktorat\u00ebs \u201cPoetika e balad\u00ebs popullore shqiptare\u201d.
\nKa qen\u00eb an\u00ebtar shum\u00ebvje\u00e7ar i redaksis\u00eb s\u00eb revist\u00ebs shkencore \u201cGjurmime albanologjike\u201d \u2013 Seria folklor dhe etnologji, si dhe n\u00eb redaksit\u00eb e botimeve t\u00eb ve\u00e7anta t\u00eb botimeve t\u00eb IAP-s\u00eb. \u00cbsht\u00eb zgjedhur gjithashtu an\u00ebtar i redaksis\u00eb s\u00eb botimit shkencor \u201c\u00c7\u00ebshtje t\u00eb folklorit shqiptar\u201d t\u00eb Institutit t\u00eb Kultur\u00ebs Popullore t\u00eb Akademis\u00eb s\u00eb Shkencave t\u00eb Republik\u00ebs s\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb.
\nDuke filluar nga viti 1991 ka qen\u00eb ushtrues i detyr\u00ebs s\u00eb drejtorit e m\u00eb von\u00eb p\u00ebr dy mandate radhazi \u00ebsht\u00eb zgjedhur drejtor i Institutit Albanologjik t\u00eb Prishtin\u00ebs, duke kryer k\u00ebt\u00eb detyr\u00eb p\u00ebr 16 vjet (1991\u20132007).<\/p>\n
